For many of our customers, their ability to deliver goods more quickly and reliably while maintaining margins is a business critical requirement. Our approach is to work closely with our customers to ensure our leasing and real estate solution supports their growth. Sometimes this means alterations or expansion of an asset whilst on other occasions we might collaborate to re-design a lease reflecting their new priorities.
Developing our portfolio
When we upgrade our warehouses, we are led by customer requirements. In some cases we already have a customer identified when we acquire an asset and transform it to suit their specific needs. We can improve assets through re-configuration, building major extensions, creating circulation space for more vehicles, increasing the flow of goods through better access, adding office and canteen space, or simply refurbishing what is already there with modern, more energy-efficient fittings.
Our current portfolio of assets has been created through acquisition and innovation. However, we also hold a land-bank and the skills to develop build-to-suit warehouses for our customers. We maintain a network of local development partners with whom we are able to pursue such projects, supporting the efficiency of our platform.
