Our solution

Recognising Farmfoods’ urgent need for more long-term space, we worked closely with them to quickly identify the best solution. Investigating the specification of the warehouse to suit the company’s chilled food operations was crucial, as was a quick turnaround. 

As soon as we understood their requirements, we knew that our neighbouring Solihull 262 facility was the ideal space.  The 262,114 sq ft distribution facility was nearing the end of its current lease and would be available in time to suit Farmfoods’ short timeline, meaning the move wouldn’t interfere with operations.  

Already being in the area, Farmfoods knew the location well. Logicor Solihull 262’s prime Midlands logistics location perfectly suited the company’s distribution needs, providing an excellent strategic link to the wider national motorway network via its close proximity to J4 of the M52 and the intersection with the M40 at J3A.

In addition, the frozen food specialists could quickly and easily relocate their stock and current workforce while starting the recruitment process for further staff to support the expansion.

The result

Farmfoods was able to seamlessly relocate and expand its operations in a location perfect for its business growth and long-term expansion plans, taking a new 20-year lease with Logicor.
