Logicor Completes BTS Development for Leading Distribution Company of Pharmaceuticals

Logicor has completed a dedicated logistics warehouse which will become one of most innovative distribution centers for pharmaceuticals and related products.

Logicor has completed a dedicated logistics warehouse which will become one of most innovative distribution centers for pharmaceuticals and related products on the hospital and pharmaceutical market in Poland. Located in the Pass Industrial Zone in Błonie near Warsaw, the 17,960 square-metre development was built to BREEAM Very Good standard and uses an array of other eco-friendly solutions.

The advanced Błonie logistics property includes indoor storage space (16,650 sq m), and an office and staff area (750 sqm). It was designed and built from the ground up to meet all the needs related to the storage of pharmaceuticals.

Only the highest quality properties can meet the stringent drug storage requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The new development in Błonie is a well-thought-out project that meets our client’s expectations both in terms of technological standards and a perfect location. The property was built on the basis of Logicor's sustainable development strategy, BREEAM Very Good standard and using additional environmental measures. In accordance with Logicor's policy, we certify all new properties in accordance with the BREEAM Very Good standard. In addition, we offered the tenant a number of green solutions. The building has been equipped with photovoltaic panels to power the air conditioning for the office part. The solar panels system is sufficient to heat the required amount of domestic water. The entire property has the highest standard of LED lighting complete with full DALI automation, including motion and daylight sensors. The lighting system has been programmed according to the client's guidelines to maximize energy savings,"

The property is also equipped with a grey water system. All green areas surrounding the building were designed to feature local plant species which are drought resistant. Nesting boxes have also been installed out of concern for the environment. In addition, greenery has been designed and numerous trees have been planted on the plot. Furthermore, two electric vehicle charging stations (22kW) have been built near the facility.
