Michael Slattery, Managing Director at Blackstone, to join as Interim CEO; Mo Barzegar to remain Chairman

Buddy Roes, Logicor’s current Managing Director for Northern Europe, to become COO

Logicor today announced that Michael Slattery, Managing Director at Blackstone, will join the company as Interim Chief Executive Officer. As previously announced, Logicor’s current Chairman and CEO Mo Barzegar will step down as CEO, but will retain a leadership role as Logicor’s Chairman. These transitions will become effective at the end of this month.

Michael Slattery has a long-standing relationship with Logicor, having overseen Blackstone’s sale of the company in 2017 and working closely in the continued management of the business under its new ownership. 

Buddy Roes, Logicor’s Managing Director for Northern Europe, will be appointed Logicor’s Chief Operating Officer, with primary responsibility for leading asset management activities across all markets. Buddy joined Logicor in 2016 to lead its business in the region, and brings over 25 years of experience in real estate.
