Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of European logistics real estate, announces its repositioning into the Liguria real estate market with an ambitious refurbishment project in Casella, located in the province of Genoa.
This initiative strengthens Logicor's leadership in Italy and enhances its presence in Northern regions.
Casella, owned by Thunder II Fund managed by Kryalos sgr, aligns with Logicor's vision of "Acting Responsibly" by integrating sustainability into every decision-making process. It involves regenerating an area of over 12,400 m² to create a highly efficient logistics hub. Specifically, over 12,000 m² of warehouse space and 350 m² of office space will be refurbished to improve their quality standards and reposition the asset. As with every Logicor project, significant attention will be paid to sustainability in order to minimize the carbon footprint associated with the modernization processes.
The renewed logistics hub will be strategically located for the flow of trade, not only in the Genoa area but throughout Northern Italy. It is situated just 5 km from the Busalla toll booth on the A7 - Autostrada dei Giovi, which connects the Ligurian capital to Milan (120 km away), and is approximately 30 km from Genoa's airport and port. Additionally, it is well connected to Novi Ligure (38 km) and Alessandria (75 km).
