The asset is located in the port area to the south of Nuremberg. Within the district Maiach, the site is sourrounded by woods to the south, industrial area to the north and the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal to the east. Several regional and federal highways (B2, B14) provide good access to the national and European motorway A73.

The Nuremberg logistics region encompasses the cities of Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen, reaching as far as the town of Forchheim in the north and Ansbach in the south-west. In the past, logistics sites tended to be located mainly within the Nuremberg city area, whereas now the wider area surrounding the city also boasts significant logistics centres in the towns of Forchheim and Ansbach. Nuremberg is a major intersection between international traffic routes for all four forms of transport, making it instrumental for local and long-distance traffic and highlighting its strategic role in multiple logistics networks.
