We’re delighted to announce a new senior hire and a number of promotions to key roles that will further expand our German team as we look to grow our northern European portfolio.

Ronal Van Der Waals

Starting in April Ronald van der Waals has been appointed as Managing Director, Northern Europe (now Managing Director Northern and Central Europe) which includes Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Ronald brings over a decade of industry experience, having most recently worked as Managing Director at CBRE Investment Management. In his last role, Ronald led the Dutch business across Office, Retail and Logistics in the Netherlands and was the fund manager for the CBRE Dutch Office Fund and CBRE Dutch Retail Fund. He started at the ING Real Estate business in 2008 and held various positions and responsibilities throughout his career within CBRE Investment Management.

Moritz Heissenberg

Moritz Heißenberg has been promoted to Country Manager, Germany, where he will oversee all of Germany’s 3.3 million sqm, as well as a handful of assets in Austria and Switzerland. Moritz’s role will span business development, including acquisitions, and overseeing asset management activities with support of the Asset Management Directors.

A mix of factors, including high demand from customers, a well-let portfolio and a rising number of competitors has created an exciting field of action. With this team in place, I’m convinced we’ll achieve our goals”, said Heißenberg about the new tasks and challenges for him and the team.

 

Olaf Huhle

Olaf Huhle is another new addition. Olaf is supporting the team as Development Director, overseeing German developments and managing our Technical Development and Technical Management team.

 

Alexander Balser               Daniel Radermacher

Alexander Balser (Frankfurt) and Daniel Radermacher (Düsseldorf) have also been promoted to Director, Asset Management for our portfolio in Germany.
